Samurai warriors compete and struggle with each other in the Medieval period (12th-16th century). The Nanbata clan dominated the area of Fujimi city in those days.
The founder of the Nanbata clan is Kaneko Takanori, who belonged to the Murayama band, one of Samurai bands formed in the late of the Heian period. Takanori participated in Jōkyū war as the Bakufu ally and died in the battle. Nanbata territory is the reward given to his descendants, and they are presumed to become the Nanbata clan.
